at the City Club in Baton Rouge, I reflected on our conversation and attending Mr. Town's gala 90th Birthday Party in June 1993 with so many of his friends and clients. While driving back to New Orleans, I thought about how many

lives he touched and the remarkable impact he had upon their quality of life through his architectural talent. I am very thankful for his friendship and that I had aspired to be an architect from the time I was a young boy, climbing on the new houses under construction near our home.

As an architect, Mr. Town was an unusually dedicated professional who worked sixteen hours a day and was always available to friends, clients and almost anyone interested in his fine homes. His clients loved him because he unselfishly gave so much of himself to his practice and brightened their lives with his truly wonderful architectural creations combining the use of old materials with new construction.
