stately Porte-Cochère at the center of the façade provides a covered entrance to this French manor house that was designed to combine comfort and convenience with the ability to entertain large groups. All major living areas including the Master Suite are located on the ground floor, with the exception of two upstairs Guest Suites, a morning kitchen, and roof terrace. A marble entrance hallway extends from the Foyer past a curving staircase to a Grand Parlor. Murals enveloping the staircase were painted by a local artist to depict the Southern Louisiana landscape. The Grand Parlor features a dramatic coved ceiling with lofty skylit coffers that provide an elegant entertaining area. French doors open from three sides of the Parlor onto a wide colonnaded Veranda overlooking
the swimming pool, Pavilion, gardens and greenhouse. Flagstone terraces graciously integrate outdoor living activities. The design of this new residence was awarded House of the Year 2003 by New Orleans Homes and Lifestyles.
